Children are often under a tremendous amount of stress from school,
family losses, and peer competition. Stress affects the way children
learn and interact with their surroundings. It affects their health,
well-being and confidence. 80% of learning difficulties are related
to stress. Lesson the stress and you lesson the difficulties.
Through active, inspiring class activities parents and children will
learn to de-stress and find creative new ways to face life’s
challenges.
This is a unique approach that integrates creative learning using
yoga as a pathway – Reading, Storytelling, Music, Creative Arts,
and Earthcare blend seamlessly with yoga movement. Classes integrate
the Multiple Intelligence described by Howard Gardner: linguistic,
logical/mathematical, visual/spatial, musical, kinesthetic/body, interpersonal,
intrapersonal, naturalistic. Anxiety is the crippler of all intelligences.
